Kitchens and bathrooms are the two rooms where design, plumbing, electrical and carpentry all meet, which is why they go wrong when handled by separate people. We design and build both as one job: cabinet layout, worktop, sink and tap positions, tiling, lighting, extraction and sanitaryware, with our own plumber and carpenter on site. Typical Nairobi kitchens we work on are 8 to 18 square metres in apartments and 15 to 30 square metres in houses; most bathrooms are 4 to 8 square metres.

Fitted kitchens typically start from Ksh 180,000 for a compact apartment kitchen in melamine and from Ksh 450,000 for a larger kitchen with stone tops. Full bathroom renovations start from around Ksh 150,000.

How long is my kitchen out of use?
Cabinets are fabricated in the workshop first, so the on-site phase is usually 7 to 14 working days. We set up a temporary cooking point where the layout allows.
Can you keep my existing tiles and only replace the cabinets?
Yes, if the tiles are sound. We design the new cabinets to the existing tile lines and plumbing points to avoid patching.
Which worktop lasts longest in a Kenyan kitchen?
Granite and quartz handle heat, water and knives best. Laminate is the budget option and is fine if you use boards and trivets. Solid wood looks beautiful but needs oiling twice a year.
Do you supply the sanitaryware and taps, or should I buy them?
Either. Buying through us means one warranty and no mismatch between the drawings and what arrives. If you prefer to buy, we give you a list with exact sizes.
Do you work in apartments with building rules on noise and water shut-off?
Yes. We coordinate with the caretaker, work within permitted hours and isolate the unit's water supply rather than the riser.
