Quotes

Quotes are itemised and valid for 30 days. Prices in quotes include materials and labour as listed; anything not listed is excluded. Indicative figures on this website are guidance only and are not offers.

Site visits and design fees

Phone and WhatsApp consultations are free. Site visits within Nairobi are free where a quote for implementation follows. Design-only work and visits outside Nairobi carry a fee stated in advance, which is deducted from the project cost if the work goes ahead with us.

Contract and programme

Work begins after a signed quote or contract and the agreed deposit. The programme states start and completion dates. Delays caused by late client decisions, late payments, restricted site access or material shortages outside our control extend the programme by the same period, and we will tell you in writing when this happens.

Payments

Payments are staged as written in the contract, typically a deposit on signing, one or two progress payments at agreed milestones, and a final payment after snagging. Payment is by bank transfer or M-Pesa to the account stated on the invoice; we never change payment details by WhatsApp message alone. Materials remain our property until paid for.

Changes and variations

Changes to the agreed scope are priced and sent to you in writing before they are carried out. Approved variations are added to the next payment stage. Unforeseen conditions found behind walls or under floors are treated the same way.

Client-supplied items

If you supply materials, fittings or furniture yourself, you are responsible for their suitability, delivery date and any defects. We will advise on specification but cannot warrant items we did not supply.

Warranty

We provide a twelve-month warranty on our workmanship from practical completion. Manufacturers' warranties apply to products. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water ingress from building defects, or work altered by others.

Cancellation

You may cancel before work starts. Custom-made items already in fabrication and materials already ordered for your project are charged at cost. Design work completed is charged at the agreed design fee.

Photographs

We take progress and completion photographs for our records and your reports. We publish them only with your written permission.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, tell us and we will come back to inspect and put it right. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
