What we collect

When you request a quote or consultation we collect what you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address if given, the location of the property, the details of the work, and any photos or plans you upload. If you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, we keep the conversation history and the number you used.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to your request, visit the property and prepare a quote.
  • To carry out the project if you go ahead, including coordinating deliveries and trades.
  • To keep records of quotes, contracts, payments and warranties.

We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for advertising lists.

Photos of your property

Photos you upload are used only to prepare your quote. Photos we take during a project are used for your progress reports. We publish before-and-after photos of a project on this website or social media only with your written permission, and never with house numbers, family photos or personal documents visible.

Storage and security

Quote requests and uploads are stored on our website server with access limited to staff who handle enquiries, behind individual password-protected accounts. Uploaded files are renamed and checked for type on arrival. We keep quote requests for 24 months after the last contact, and project records for 7 years for tax and warranty purposes, then delete them.

Third parties

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts and, only when you click to show a map, an embedded map from Google Maps. Both receive your IP address when loaded. WhatsApp links open the WhatsApp app or website, which is operated by Meta. We do not run advertising trackers. [CLIENT TO CONFIRM WHETHER ANALYTICS WILL BE ADDED; UPDATE THIS SECTION IF SO]

Your rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it for a contract or legal record. Message us on WhatsApp or call +254 725 008750 and we will respond within 14 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. Significant changes will be noted on the quote form.
