Curtains and blinds change a room faster than anything else, and they are the item most often done badly: rods hung at window height instead of near the ceiling, curtains that stop short of the floor, blinds that let the 4 pm sun straight through. We measure every window, sew curtains and sheers to the millimetre in our workshop, supply roller, zebra, Roman and wooden blinds, and finish rooms with rugs, cushions, art and lamps chosen to the scheme. Most Nairobi apartments are measured, made and fitted within ten days.

Price guidance
Made-to-measure curtains typically start from Ksh 4,500 per metre of window width including fabric, lining and rod. Roller and zebra blinds start from Ksh 3,200 per square metre fitted. Rugs range from Ksh 8,000 to Ksh 60,000 depending on size and material.
Curtains and blinds questions
Should curtains touch the floor?
For living rooms and bedrooms, yes: either just kissing the floor or with a 2 to 3 cm break. Sill-length curtains suit kitchens and small bathroom windows only.
Which blinds work best for the afternoon sun?
Zebra blinds give privacy with light control, and roller blinds in a sunscreen fabric cut glare while keeping the view. Both are easy to wipe.
Can you fit curtains in a rental without damaging walls?
Rods need a few screws, which landlords generally accept. We fill and paint the holes when you leave if required.
Do you clean or repair existing curtains?
We re-hem, re-line and re-head existing curtains. We do not offer dry-cleaning but can recommend a laundry.
